Why Companies Should Use a Digital Pre-Start Checklist Software

Pre-start checklist of equipment is an essential tool to maintain a high profile of any company. World's best construction companies always make sure that when their engine goes out, it does not return with a fault. But, in this modern era where smart work has taken over hard work, it is hard to maintain a manual pre-start checklist for all the machines that a construction company owns. It has always been a tool to maintain the security of your worker and let him know whether the machine is safe to operate. Construction companies try to keep their all machines in a sound condition so that it doesn't affect their work, and, for this, they must maintain a separate checklist for each engine they own. Every machine has a separate specification, and so their checklist is also different. It is hard to manage a separate pre-start checklist for a forklift, another for a truck and the same goes with other types of equipment.
A pre-start checklist for forklift will examine Hydraulic fuel, Engine oil, Brake fluid, and Battery. While a truck will inspect its tires, back, and front light, brakes, mirrors, and engine oil, and this continues to differ machine by machine. In these days of advancement, it is becoming hard for companies to maintain a regular and separate pre-start checklist for each device. It cost them extra effort, extra labor, and eventually leads towards additional expenditure.
The world is moving to change with every passing second and, to succeed in this world, it's necessary to evolve with this evolving world. It is good to keep a manual record for the pre-start checklist of your equipment, but it is better to move your records from manual to digital and automated. Most of the high profile companies have shifted their manual records to digital apps to maintain a pre-start checklist for their machines. There are many applications in the market for managing a daily pre-start checklist for your engines. Still, Pinnacle software is what stands firm in the market when we talk about maintaining a pre-start checklist for different types of equipment.
Pinnacle is a mobile app and cloud-based software that maintains a pre-start checklist for your heavy vehicles and other engines. This software helps your company to minimize the risks, improve safety, and enhances the life of your all kinds of engines. You can receive your daily pre-start checklist through an app which will also warn you about any possible fault in the machine and will convert these faults into work requests and those work requests into streamline maintenance management.
Pinnacle mobile app can be installed easily on both 'IOS' and 'Android.' It is easy to maintain and will ensure zero record loss. This app can work offline once it is installed. The cloud-based software will make maintenance and compliance more accessible than ever and help your company save time, money, and engine losses. ASSET MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE

The Asset Management Software module allows you to record all relevant asset details in a powerful RDBMS and attach related documents, maps, plans, images, CAD drawings. Importantly it also allows you to monitor warranty, faults and repairs & services while producing comprehensive financial reporting with multiple depreciation books and methods of depreciation.
It makes financial adjustments, revaluations of assets and records individual issues and movements. It also clones asset details for efficient entry of similar asset types and maintains asset inventory. It can forecast replacements and manage substitutions, designate and maintain parent/child components and spare parts relationships. It will also process asset loans and hire, manage software assets and automate asset event notification. Last , but certainly not least, the Asset module maintains full purchase, disposal and trade-in details while linking assets to form functional units.
The Assets Module is fully integrated with all Modules. This means that assets that will be regularly maintained with full maintenance and cost histories, along with the recording of estimated replacement dates and values will allow for life-cycle costing calculations. Performance measures – Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) and downtime figures are also calculated, allowing poorly performing assets to be identified and targeted for further planned maintenance inspections.
For other assets, the lifetime history of repairs can be tracked for comparison purposes. Creating Assets – All asset details recorded refer to a number of user maintainable standard of data tables. This reduces data entry time while significantly increasing the accuracy and consistency of information. To minimise the effort required to enter new assets into the system, the software includes the ability to clone assets. This allows multiple assets to be created based on the details of the asset previously entered into the database. This allows the user to select which of the information is to be copied and automatically displays a screen for entry of barcode and serial numbers.
